RECRUITMENT PROCESS
At Discover Medics we don’t believe in waiting for things to happen, we like to make them happen! To get the best results for our clients we have intentionally created a highly proactive recruitment process. Here’s an outline of what you can expect when you choose to fill your vacancy through us:
1. Initial Assessment We arrange an initial meeting with you to discuss your current requirements, your budget, plus the type of person(s) who would really fit your organization and you’d welcome with open arms. One of our experienced consultants will then give you an honest appraisal of your job brief and advise the best hiring strategy. |
2. Recruitment Proposal After conducting a full review of the initial assessment/job brief, we will draw up a recruitment proposal, describing our proposed approach, the recruitment plan, the timescales and the costs involved. It will also give you an indication of our commitment and the resources we can put at your disposal. |
3. Sourcing & Screening We use a variety of channels to connect with candidates. From coverage across multiple leading UK job boards; targeted social media & other marketing channel campaigns; and local & international recruitment events to sourcing unique candidates from our established and well-maintained database; we will find you the talent you require. |
4. Shortlist At this stage we undertake a vigorous screening process that includes in-depth interviews, taking up reference and background checks to ensure the candidate’s credibility. We then shortlist the candidates who are closely matching your organisation’s specific recruitment needs. This means that you’ll only interview the best candidates we’ve headhunted and/or are currently available in the job market. |
5. Interviews We’ll communicate with you right throughout the interview stage and coordinate interviews, travel arrangements for local and international candidates, accommodation, and organising local/overseas venues for interviews. We also make sure the international candidates are fully vetted. |
6. Candidate Selection Once the final candidate selection has been made, we’ll take care of the entire placement process, from negotiating the offer, organising a start date and managing the exit from the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth employment process for the candidate, and a reliable hiring process for you. We’ll also coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for international candidates and pass on invaluable local knowledge to help them settle in. |
7. Post-placement review Our services don’t end at recruitment stage. We will continue to offer support during the initial pre-placement period until the candidate is settled into their new role. At this point we will collect feedback from both you and the candidate on the recruitment process. |
